SERVICES and THE PROCESS

Ways to reach Me:

A woman in a cream jacket is sitting at a wooden desk with her hand extended, handing a clipboard to another woman sitting behind the desk. The woman behind the desk is smiling and has short dark hair, wearing glasses and a blue floral top. The office space has a beige wall with a framed picture and a wooden bookshelf with framed photos and decorative items. A monitor, keyboard, and some papers are on the desk. There is a decorative sign on the wall reading 'love more, worry less.'

Step 2. Initial Appointment

A Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation

In our first session we will meet for 60-90 minutes. We will spend time getting to know each other with the focus being on building a trusting patient-practitioner relationship. I desire to know you as a person and not “just your symptoms”.

A comprehensive psychiatric assessment seeks to review what you are experiencing and begin to establish a route for treatment.

During this time it may be appropriate to complete additional evaluation forms and screenings.

Step 3. Follow-up

Appointments

After your initial appointment we will determine a follow-up schedule.

Depending on the circumstances, clients are generally seen every 1-4 weeks either in person or by video.

Appointment types offered: medication follow-up, therapy, or a medication and therapy combination. Therapy appointments tailored to your specific needs with a combination of therapy techniques used such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness.

Office and Appointment Information

I welcome you to engage in Mental Health services in my quaint and inviting private office space.

Step into a country setting, breath in some fresh air, and dive into the experience of therapy. This may be your first time, or you are a seasoned therapy veteran… all are welcome.

The space is designed to provide comfort and relaxation, while accommodating those who may need to bring infants or small children to appointments with them.

Video appointments available after an in-person initial intake appointment. Join your session from any location in Oregon and I will be on the other side of the screen ready to meet your needs.
