About
More About ME….
Personally:
I grew up in a small Oregon town and have stayed close to my roots. I believe in supporting the community one lives and connecting through friendships, business, work, family, and play. I am a lifelong learner, embracing knowledge and seeking answers to better my life and those around me.
I am a mother of four children, a Grandma (G-ma), a friend, daughter, sister, girlfriend, advocate, and nurse. My personal life includes house projects, crafting, travel, trips to the beach, naps, audiobooks, photography, nonprofit work, and generally keeping myself too busy.
Professionally:
My professional passion is focused on Perinatal and Women’s Health. I bring to my services almost 25 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, primarily in Labor and Delivery. I have seen the gap in mental health services available for women during the perinatal and postpartum period and I strive through my practice to assist in filling that gap. Beyond my primary focus of women, my life experiences and professional training provide services for chronic pain, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
I am honored to share my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training and skills with you- either through therapy, medication management, or a combination of both.
License and education:
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- Board Certified (ANCC)
Master’s In Nursing- Frontier Nursing University; Bachelor’s of Science- Great Falls University, MT
Certifications: Inpatient Obstetric Nursing- (NCC); Perinatal Death Bereavement Coordinator (RTS)
